Design Narrative:

This is a Proposed New Construction Residence on a former agricultural lot.  Following a Modern Farmhouse Style, the two-story home uses a spread-out  footprint to take advantage of the views and trying to blend with agricultural landscape.  The program is mainly comprised as a 4 bedroom home with various living and entertainment spaces.  The challenge was incorporating all the program while also allowing for privacy, natural lighting, and engaging the landscape.

This was achieved by blending and organizing the various spaces; The Great Room at the core with the west "wing" consisting of Kitchen and Dining spaces.  Above on the second floor is the master suite with it's own private balcony.  The East Wing holds the informal entertainment spaces such as Theater, Family Room, and the children's bedrooms.

The program doesn't stop with the interior spaces; the exterior also makes uses of the formal entry and wrap-around porch, an outdoor bbq space at the Garage, dining wrap-around porch, and a secluded patio at the East Wing.
